Last Wednesday, the TLP started a campaign to collect clothes, baby products, feminine products or toys in good condition, so that they can be distributed among the Afghan refugees who have arrived these days. All these products will be sent this Monday to the Torrejón Air Base by land, in a trailer truck, directly to the collection point. Once there, they will be distributed by the Red Cross, with the support of the Air Forces, in the camp stablished to help the refugees.
The campaign started at CAOC Torrejón, and through the TLP family was extended to this unit. Then, to the 14th Wing and MAESAL. However, during the weekend, and due to the very direct links that exist between the Base and the neighbors of Albacete, several organizations of the city, companies, and citizens in general have ended up getting involved, which is a sign of solidarity and generosity of the city that hosts the program.
From the TLP we want to express our deepest gratitude to the city of Albacete for the remarkable reception that this appeal has had and for the great solidarity shown by its inhabitants.
