Last 15th of January 2020, as part of its complementary educational activities plan, the Spanish Air Force General Academy (AGA) visited the 14th Wing and the Tactical Leadership Programme, in Albacete Air Base.
The visit began with the reception of 90 students of 1st and 4th Years, and their two instructors, by Colonel Pedro Enrique Belmonte Giménez, Albacete Air Base and 14th Wing Commander, who gave a Briefing on the organization, role and mission of Albacete Air Base and 14th Wing.
The Air Force General Academy students and teachers made a tour around Albacete Air Base facilities after a short meeting with personnel from the 14th Wing.
Then, the TLP Commandant Colonel Mr. Andrés Enrique Maldonado García, and a delegation comprising TLP personnel welcomed the visitors to the Tactical Leadership Programme Headquarters.
The students and instructors of the Spanish Air Force Academy were directed into the Headquarters to the TLP Main Briefing Room, where they were briefed by Colonel Maldonado on the organization of Tactical Leadership Programme, its objectives and main activities. The students had the chance to make some questions to TLP instructors and discuss interesting issues once the briefing finished.
The AGA visit to Albacete Air Base concluded with a confraternity lunch at the base canteen with the two units’ delegation.
