Last Friday, 27th October, TLP completed the last two academic courses offered in its 2023 calendar.
The INTEL 23-2 course, which started on Monday 16 October, was attended by 24 participants. The nationalities present at this latest edition of this year’s course were Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Spain and the United Kingdom, from the MoU nations, plus Finland, Hungary and the Czech Republic as guest nations. Being able to lead and be led in a multinational environment to prepare accurate intelligence analysis and reports for crews is one of the objectives of the course.
The SUPPORT 23-2 course, which started on Tuesday, 17 October, was attended by 65 participants from 12 different nationalities, 8 of them from MoU nations (Belgium, Denmark, France, Greece, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom) and 4 of them from guest nations (Austria, Finland, Hungary and Poland). The SUPPORT course is designed to provide a broad knowledge of operations to tactical operators in order to prepare them for integration into future COMAOs. It is aimed at military personnel who work directly or indirectly with combat aircraft and support assets involved in such missions. It is also a stepping stone for aircrew, intelligence officers and GCI controllers wishing to subsequently attend the synthetic COMAO and flying COMAO courses developed by the TLP.
