Last 4th of February 2025, the Deputy Director of the European Air Group (EAG), Belgian Brigadier General Patrick Goossens, accompanied by an officer of the Air and Space Army (EA) assigned to this Centre, visited the Units located at the Albacete Air Base :14th Wing, Maestranza de Albacete (MAESAL) and Tactical Leadership Programme (TLP)
During their visit to Tactical Leadership Programme, TLP Commandant, César Acebes Puertas, briefed them on the mission, organisation, objectives and main activities of the programme. After that, there was an interesting debate on the projects in which the EAG is currently involved. During this debate they could identify various topics of common interest for both organisations. In this sense, the importance of the ‘Aircraft Cross Service’ (ACS) workshops, which have been developed during the first flying course of the year at TLP (FC 25-01), and which have counted with an active participation of EAG members, was highlighted.
During this meeting, the EAG representatives also had the opportunity to visit the TLP simulator room, where, through the Head of the Section, they were able to appreciate the advanced capabilities of the System in the synthetic field, as well as its integration in the set of courses offered by the TLP.
Finally, after attending the start-up and take-offs of the day’s flight mission, General Goossens thanked for the attention received during the visit, and expressed his commitment to maintain a close collaboration with the TLP.
