On the 1st of October 2019, TACC Valencia, Centro de Control de Área Terminal, visited the Tactical Leadership Programme, in Albacete Air Base during the third TLP’s Flying Course of the year (FC 2019-3).
The visit began with the reception of the 17 air controllers from Valencia by Colonel Andrés Maldonado García, TLP Commandant, who delivered a briefing on the organization, objectives and main activities of the Tactical Leadership Programme. Once the briefing had finished, the visitors had the chance to make some questions and discuss relevant issues regarding TLP activity and future air space for the Programme.
Later, after a confraternity lunch at the TLP Murf, the participants were taken to the 14th Wing’s Control Tower to witness the takeoffs scheduled for the mission of the day.
Then, the visitors could observe the mission execution at the TLP Headquarters. The visit was concluded at the end of this activity.
