Today, 24th January 2023, the Deputy Spanish Air and Space Force Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Ignacio Bengoechea Martí, has visited the Tactical Leadership Programme.
Upon his arrival at the TLP headquarters, LtGen Bengoechea was welcomed by the TLP Commandant, Colonel Alberto Martínez, together with a commission appointed for this purpose comprising three Lieutenant Colonels from the SP National Component, the Warrant Officer and the Chiefs of the Support, Academic & Doctrine and the Flying Branches.
To start the visit, TLP Commandant, Luis Alberto Martínez, gave Lt Gen Bengoechea a presentation on the latest developments in the Tactical Leadership Programme. Later, he witnessed a demonstration of the capabilities of the MACE flight simulator.
Finally, the Deputy Spanish Air and Space Force Chief of Staff had the opportunity to greet TLP staff, a unit he commanded as a Colonel between 2009 and 2012.
To conclude the visit, Lt Gen Bengoechea signed the TLP Book of Distinguished Visitors, and Colonel Martínez presented him with a knife, one of Albacete’s emblems.
