Last Thursday 16th May, The Deputy Commander of NATO Allied Air Command (DCOM AIRCOM), AM John Stringer, together with General Paulo COSTA of CAOC-Torrejón and their respective delegations, visited the TLP to learn more about its activities.
Upon their arrival at the TLP Headquarters, they were welcomed by the TLP Commandant, Colonel Luis Alberto Martínez Ruiz, as well as by the 14th Wing Commandant and Chief of Albacete’s Air Base, Colonel Ignacio Zulueta Martín.
During their visit, Colonel Martínez gave the attendees a presentation on the organization, objectives and activities of the TLP, as well as its projects and ambitions for the future.
Afterwards, they visited the TLP flight simulator (MACE) where some of the staff explained to them how it works and the role it plays in the training of their courses.
To conclude the visit, AM John Stringer and General Paulo COSTA had the opportunity to salute and address some words to the participants attending the COMAO 24-3 academic course.
