Last February 25, 2022, British Ambassador to Spain, His Excellency Hugh Elliott and UK Defense Attaché, Captain Ian Clarke (RN) visited the TLP to learn about the Programme and the joint work of the UK TLP staff.
During their visit, H. E. Hugh Elliott and Captain Clarke were given an overview of TLP by Col Carlos Presa, TLP Commandant, on the organization, objectives and activities, as well as future TLP projects and new TLP procedures, to better understand the role of the Programme.
After said briefings, Sqn Ldr Haines, UK TLP staff, delivered an overview of the ongoing Flying Course Day mission to the visitors, where they were able to observe the FC 22-1 Mission Planning.
Subsequently, the British Ambassador and the UK Defense Attaché visited the TLP facilities, hangar and runway, having the opportunity to see a demonstration of the new MACE simulator.
To conclude the visit, His Excellency Hugh Elliott and Captain Clarke attended live mission briefings.
